The Allen & Thurber Pepperbox 6 Shots 1837 is a faithful reproduction of one of the most unique firearms from the first half of the 19th century: a six-barrel defensive weapon (commonly known as a "Pepperbox" or "6 Barrel Pepper Shaker") whose presence is striking due to its silhouette and historical character.
The Pepperbox pistol was a widely used defensive solution in the first half of the 19th century because it offered multiple shots without the need for immediate reloading.
Between 1837 and 1847, very few units were documented (according to historical sources, only six units of certain models), which increases its historical value and uniqueness.
